For Your Team
This pack works best as a team exercise. Have each person read the cards before your next meeting. When you gather, pick one or two frameworks to discuss: What resonated? What’s already happening (or not) on our team? Then choose one thing to operationalize this week.
Discussion Prompts
- Pick one direct report. Where would you put the trust battery right now? What specific interactions charged or drained it?
- Think about someone on your team whose trust battery is below 50%. Is the issue credibility, reliability, intimacy, or self-orientation? How does that change what you'd do about it?
- Have you ever had a trust battery that couldn't be recharged? How long did you wait before acting on it, and what would you do differently?
- When trust is low between two people on your team (not involving you), how do you decide whether to intervene or let them work it out?
- Which of the four components of trust is hardest for you personally? Where does your own self-orientation creep in?
